The Carioca — Brazilian-Cut High-Waist Bikini Set

The Carioca starts with the silhouette that gave Rio its reputation — high-waisted, scrunch-back, built for the kind of body confidence that reads from the far end of a pool deck. We took that blueprint and cut it for the Queensland coast: more structure in the top, more give at the hip, the same unmistakable line.

The waistband sits two centimetres above the natural waist — that specific measurement matters. Too low and the silhouette reads standard. Too high and it compresses. At two centimetres it sculpts without restricting. The triangle top uses a fixed-tie construction that won't shift between entry and exit. Three sizes engineered for genuine hip-to-waist variation, not scaled uniformly.

82% polyamide, 18% elastane — the same composition ratio used in technical activewear, chosen here for recovery and colour retention. Rinse in cool fresh water after salt or chlorine exposure.
